Marco Macaco behind the scenes
I directed, storyboarded and conceptualized these three shorts for the viral promotion of Marco Macaco. I created a back stage environment, outside the actual film, we could have a lot of fun with. See the other two, the animatic's and some of the discarded ideas below. (all tekst and sound in danish)

Marco Macaco Storyboard
At Nice Ninja I storyboarded most of feature film "Marco Macaco" together with Dan Harder in 2010 - 11. The movie was directed by wonderfully weird Jan Rahbek. Check out the trailer here.
Below are a few of my sequences from the film and some panels from the original pitch board.

The Sandman and the lost sand of dreams
To view: Use arrow buttens on keyboard. View fullscreen under options.
I storyboarded on this movie back in 2009. It was fun to storyboard on a stop motion picture for once. This sequence shows the villan tricking the hero to cry. Thereby getting a tear- All he needs for his evil scheme.

Storyboard on Asterix and Vikings.
A hand drawn animated feature with some real acting and splendid draftsmanship, how about that!!!

Here are a few Storyboard panels from Asterix. Towards the end of the story period it was Ignacio Ferreras, Warren Leonhart and me, who did most of the boards. It was quite rushed, we had about 6 months for the entire feature. Very frustrating and a lot of fun.
We dodeled the boards and got some great artists like Dan Harder and Christian Kunst to clean them up. Very privileged.
Click on the picture to see slide show of the one of the boards. Its a montage sequence showing Asterix and Opelix training training the wimp Justforkix.

Storyboard Trollstory
I did Storyboard on Trollstory some years ago. One of the most interesting projects I’ve worked on, a film with so much potential. Unfortunately it never made it to the big screen. Do not confuse it with the TV series of the same name.
The story is about a boy that thinks he’s a troll but realizes towards the middle that he is actually human. Sort of Mowgly meets Lords of the Rings.
Here is a slideshow of some of the boards I did for the film.

and here is more a few sequences later.

Previously
Here is a short overview of what I’ve been up to the last couple of years…
2001 - 2003
At A-film I worked on Help iam fish, supervising special effects and moved over to do development work on Trollstory ( a great, very promising project that never got financed. )
I joined A films new Game dpt. where I co directed two computergames with Eskil Møhl: Zone 5 and Rich In Paradice. http://www.richinparadise.dk/
Later I went to work on a game based on the Swedish Golith franchise, developing concept and gameplay. An ambitious project involving several platforms, both a console game and a TV game. Jan Solheim did the designs. http://www.afilm.dk/games/goliat/goliat.html
Drawings by Jan Solheim copyright Afilm
I took a break from Afilm and joined the newly formed game company Kudos. Here I did development work on the console game “Jerusalem” ( another great, very promising project that never got financed. )

I did bords for the CGI feature Ugly Duckling, and moved on to do boards on Asterix and the Vikings.
